We want to give a heartfelt thank you for the invitation from West Genesee High School in Central New York for inviting us speak to their students about the dangers of substance abuse. The school called for a mandatory assembly to all students in response to their community outreach and awareness program created to combat the opiate epidemic. The topics Eamon O’Hara of AARG focused on were the dangers of drug experimentation at a grade school level and ways to help someone who is struggling with addiction.
Administrators also Had a separate meeting with AARG where they were given information on additional national resources available to help them get involved in the anti addiction movement. How to help families find good treatment options was, once again, a main point of discussion. This is an area that AARG has compiled it’s resources to give their clients the best information available.
We look forward to spreading our knowledge and expertise around communities nationwide in hopes of bringing awareness and education to those in need.
